Railway Engineering Services

SR provides engineering services in the areas of planning, detailed design, Safety Diagnosis, construction engineering, Electric construction, consulting, and business support for the operation control systems of various types of trains, including conventional railways, high-speed railways, urban railways, light railways, AGT (Automatic Guided Transit), track procedures, industrial railways, and subways.

Consulting

We provide technical support for railway operations in both domestic and international markets.

RAMS (Reliability, Availability, Maintainability, Safety) is an integrated term used in railway project Request for Proposals (RFPs) to describe
the characteristics of a system for long-term operation. It encompasses the following aspects:

Reliability Design

involves ensuring that a system/subsystem/device can perform its intended functions without failure, under given conditions, until its disposal. It is quantitatively expressed through metrics such as Mean Time Between Failures (MTBF), Mean Time To Failure (MTTF), and reliability. In the design phase of a system/subsystem/device, reliability is predicted to select proven devices and manage the design to achieve the reliability objectives of the system.

Integrated Maintenance Analysis

is a measure that represents the broader concept of reliability, which combines both reliability and maintainability of a system, under the assumption that necessary external resources (environment, time) are provided. It quantitatively expresses the probability that a system or subsystem can perform its intended functions at a given point in time, known as availability.

Safety Design

ensures that railway systems are designed and manufactured to achieve the acceptable safety objectives. Safety is managed by identifying and analyzing hazards associated with the system or subsystem, classifying them, and implementing measures to reduce risks to an acceptable level.

Stability Design

focuses on ensuring that the system, subsystem, or device operates reliably and performs its intended functions without failure or instability until its intended end-of-life. It is often expressed in terms of Mean Time Between Failures (MTBF), Mean Time To Failure (MTTF), and reliability.
